Bellevue Hotel & Spa

Stayed here for two nights in October. Weather was wonderful. Staff was very warm, friendly, kind, and helpful. Food at the main restaurant was really good, the free breakfast was also great. Location was perfect; views are great and everything in town is walkable. Parking was tight, but plentiful. They even have EV chargers for guest use free of charge. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the kind staff for a wonderful stay.

I had the most spectacular stay at The Bellevue and can’t wait to return. The facilities and service was exceptional with amazing attention to detail. The spa facilities were excellent. I believe this hotel is great value for money given the views, free transfers to hiking locations at any time you like, afternoon teas included and access to the terrace for a drink/dining or relaxing.

We spent over 300,000 birr for graduation cermoney last week but the service we received from the so called Manager was very disappointing and unprofestional . Him and his assistance doesn't communicate at all. Very unorganized . We were promissed the top floor which was 9th (that is the best room they have) but the manager and his assistance made last minute changes and put us on the 7th floor. They didn't keep their promise . They don't even know how many people 9th floor can fit. As a manager, this is a part of the job . We asked to talk to the owner but he refused to give us the owners contact . They gave us only 2 waitress for 72 people. The beer was warm and dusty. The DJ was actually NOT a DJ. He was an electrician acting as a DJ. What kind of hotel does this???? Guess what? On the actual day, the manager turned his phone off and disappeared . What a manager!!! Spend your money some where else where managers actually keep their promisses and treat you with respect . We will NEVER ever go back to this hotel . The beer and other drinks price is changing every day Which was really weird . The price they charge per plate is almost double compare to other hotels. Don't pick this hotel for any occations . # Note: The owner said this review is not for them. WOW. Just WOW. We paid 150,000 birr as a down payment and then 130,000 (this is just for buffet) and then we paid 43,309.72 birr final bill. We have the recepit. Just ask your manager or we can come to you with our recepit.

This hotel over charges for everything. They charge 4000 birr per plate for buffet . Even the 5 star hotel don't charge that much. The service is is D- at best. If you have kids stay away from this hotel! They smoke what ever it is on the top floor every night. This is NOT a hotel for family at all. This hotel is only for people who loves to smoke you know what it is. Spend your money some where else unless you want your kids to get hooked with bad habit.

Had great time in the hotel. We got an amazing room with stunning view from our very big balcony. We had the view of grand paradiso in our room all the time. Spa was very cool there are so many types of sauna I didn't know about before. The people in the hotel were very nice and helpful. Always busy with making us happy. We had 2 massage treatments which were very good. Dominique helped us every morning to plan our hike according to the weather. The girl in the reception who talked to the restaurants to make sure I will have vegan option wherever I go. Needless to mention that the room and everything in the hotel was very clean and inviting. Breakfast was awesome. And we also tried dinner and it was very good while listening to a live piano concert. Which to be back here soon!

Rarely do you come across a hotel whose is more suitable. The view, visible from the rooms, from the restaurant and even from the spa's top floor, is simply stunning. The service, as is typical of family owned luxury hotels in the Alps, is very personable and attentive. The food was incredible (as was the wine selection), and the room was beautiful. If you like hiking in the mountains - this is the perfect place for you.
